 Rose Bernstein’s Ancestors
Grandma was born in Russia in 1880 and came to New York via Antwerp, Belgium in 1905 with two infant children and a brother-in-law, and joined husband Morris Slobodkin. We don't know when her parents, Freda and Abr. Bernstein arrived. See Rose Bernstein's Ancestors

Morris Bodkin/Slobodkin’s Ancestors
Grandpa was born in, or near, Minsk, Russia in 1878, oldest child of Alexander Slobodkin and Rebecca Kushner. He came to New York, via Antwerp, Belgium in 1904. See Morris Bodkin's Ancestors and the family sites below for more.

James T. Marsh’s Ancestors
Grandpa was born in Rock Island, Illinois in 1886. His father, James Marsh, was born in St. Helen's, Lancashire, England in 1854 and came to Philadelphia, PA in 1880, settling in Floyd Co, Indiana by 1881. His mother, Elizabeth Anne Hutt, was born in Wales in 1867 and came to America with family between 1870 and 1873, settling in Floyd Co, Indiana. See James T. Marsh's Ancestors

Birdie P. Shreve's Ancestors
Grandma was born in 1888 in Brown Co, Ohio. Her parents, David Shreve and Helenor Kendall were also born in Brown Co. Her ancestors came to the area between 1785 and 1820 and settled in the counties of Brown, Adams and Clermont in Ohio, and Mason County in Kentucky. Prior to the revolution, they had lived in the colonies of Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia. See Birdie P. Shreve's Ancestors
