3G Grandparents

EDWARDS WEST Sr., son of JOHN WEST Sr. and ELEANOR EDWARDS, was born 11 Aug 1801, in an area that became part of Brown County, Ohio in 1818. He was the youngest of nine children. He died 26 May 1870 in Jackson Twp, Brown Co, and was buried in West-Evans Cemetery, in Byrd Twp.

SARAH "SALLY" EDWARDS, daughter of GEORGE EDWARDS and SUSANNAH DOWNING, was born 19 May 1798 in Adams County, Ohio, the third of fifteen children.

Edwards and Sally were first cousins, since their respective parents, George Edwards and Eleanor Edwards were brother and sister. They were married 23 Nov 1820 in Brown Co, and were the parents of thirteen children.
